You create an API key in your own WooCommerce admin and paste it into Schakel. Because you host WordPress yourself, everything stays on your own webshop and nothing has to go into a closed platform.

You authorise Schakel through Exact Online and pick the administration the invoices should land in. Your password is never asked for or stored.

Set journals and codes
You set the sales journal, the ledger accounts per product type, the cost centres and the VAT codes, and which order status makes an order book. That matches how you book in Exact today.

Check and let it run
You see the first bookings in an overview before they are final. Once it looks right, new orders and refunds flow in by themselves and everything shows up in the log.
What you need
- A WordPress site running WooCommerce where you are an administrator. In the WooCommerce settings you create a REST API key with read and write access.
- An Exact Online account with rights on the administration you want linked. You grant Schakel access once through Exact itself.
