Keep Salesforce and Moneybird updated automatically.
In Salesforce you close deals, in Moneybird you invoice them. Today that usually means someone retypes a won opportunity into the accounting by hand, with room for mistakes and duplicate contacts. Schakel reads your Salesforce opportunities and turns every deal set to Closed Won into a Moneybird invoice automatically, with the account as a contact and the opportunity line items as invoice lines.
What travels across the link
Everything this connector moves between Salesforce and Moneybird, and how often.
-
Won opportunity as invoice
When you set an opportunity to Closed Won, Schakel turns it into a Moneybird sales invoice, with the opportunity line items as lines and the opportunity name as reference.
-
Account and contact person
The Salesforce account is found in Moneybird by name or email or created as a contact, with the contact person and VAT number attached, so your invoices go to the right party.
-
VAT and reverse charge
Based on the account country and VAT number the right rate is set per line, including reverse charge for foreign business customers.
-
Products as invoice lines
Your Salesforce products and price books come through as separate invoice lines, so the Moneybird invoice is as itemised as the deal in Salesforce.

Common questions
Is the Salesforce to Moneybird connector available?
Request this connector and get access. You let us know you want to link Salesforce to Moneybird, and we make sure you can get started. You hear from us within 24 hours.
Which opportunity stage creates the invoice?
Closed Won by default, but you choose which stage creates the invoice in Moneybird, so open deals are not invoiced yet.
Are my products and price books included?
Yes. The opportunity line items come through as separate invoice lines, with quantity and price, so the invoice is as itemised as the deal.
Do duplicate contacts appear in Moneybird?
No. The account is found by name or email. Only when there is genuinely no match does Schakel create a new contact.
Does Schakel send the invoice to the customer?
Only if you turn that on. By default Schakel creates the invoice in Moneybird so you can check it first.
Can you connect Salesforce to Moneybird?
Yes. Schakel connects through the official APIs of Salesforce and Moneybird, so you install nothing on your own server and nothing travels outside those two parties.
Which VAT rate do my sales get in Moneybird?
The rate is set per line: 21%, 9% or 0%. Sales to Belgium and other EU countries get the rate of the destination country, ready for your OSS return.
Are commission and fees booked separately in Moneybird?
Yes. Commission, shipping and other fee types each land on their own ledger account in Moneybird, rather than in one lump sum, so your margin stays readable.
