Flip a switch or change a setting. Example data, nothing real moves.

A connector links two systems. An automation needs only one: you connect your Bol.com seller account, and Schakel does the other half of the work itself.

For Bol.com that means seven switches: invoices, review requests, returns, cancellations, alerts, VAT export and profit per product. Turn on what you need and leave the rest off.

It all runs on your own Bol.com connection. If you already have a connector from Bol.com to your accounting or your webshop, the automation uses that same connection.

Getting started

How it works

01

Create an account and pick the Bol.com automation

You sign up with your email address and pick the Bol.com automation from the list. No card needed.

02

Connect your Bol.com seller account (client id and secret, 2 minutes)

In your Bol.com seller account you create a Retailer API key under the API settings. You paste the client id and secret into Schakel, where they are stored encrypted. If you already have a Bol.com connection with us, just pick that one.

How do I get my Bol.com API details?
03

Switch on what you want and fill in your company details for the invoices

Seven switches, you choose which. If you turn invoices on, fill in your company name, address, chamber of commerce number and VAT number first. After that it runs by itself, and every action shows up in the log.

Alongside your connectors

It works next to what you already run

Bol.com to Moneybird keeps running

A connector into your accounting stays exactly as it is. The automation uses the same seller account connection, so there is nothing to set up twice.

Bol.com to Shopify keeps running

The same goes for a connector into your webshop. Stock and orders carry on travelling the way they do today.

Overlapping switches are greyed out

If a connector already does something a switch here also does, uploading invoices for example, that switch is greyed out with the reason next to it. Nothing ever happens twice.

Common questions

What does an automation cost?

The same as a connector: free up to 25 orders a month, 15 euro a month up to 250 orders, and 50 euro a month for unlimited. The unit is a Bol.com order, and it counts once no matter how many switches fire on it. If you already have a Bol.com connector with us, whichever one, the automation joins as an extra connector at 50% off. The pricing page has the full picture.

Does this work with FBR and FBB?

With both. Whether you ship yourself or deliver from the Bol.com warehouse, your orders come from the same API. One difference: on fulfilment by Bol.com (LVB) Bol.com settles the return itself. So the returns switch, and with it "keep it", does nothing there. The other switches work exactly the same.

I have several Bol.com accounts. Is that possible?

Yes. You create one connector per seller account, so invoices, numbering and settings stay properly separated. The second and further connectors get the 50% discount that applies to every extra connector.

Can I combine this with Bol.com to Moneybird?

Yes, and it runs on the same Bol.com connection. Review requests, returns, cancellations, alerts, VAT export and profit all switch on next to a Bol.com to Moneybird connector. Only invoices stays off: Moneybird already invoices those orders, so that switch is greyed out with the reason next to it. That way a buyer never gets two invoices for one order.

Is my data safe?

Your Bol.com keys are stored encrypted and everything runs on servers in the EU. We do not share your data with third parties, and you can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time.

How long does Schakel keep data about my buyers?

The buyer name, the Bol.com relay address and the delivery address stay for 18 months after the order and are removed after that. Invoices are kept as long as the connector exists, because you have to be able to reach them. The seven-year bookkeeping duty is yours as a business, so download your invoices before you delete the connector. For buyers who opt out of review requests we keep only a hash of the email address, never a readable one, so we can skip them without storing them.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. You get 30 days to try everything, no card required. After that you fall back to the free plan, unless you pick another one yourself.
