Connect OpenAI
Starting with what is not there: Schakel has no connection to OpenAI. You cannot attach an OpenAI account or API key to Schakel, and the assistant in your Moneybird runs on DeepSeek rather than an OpenAI model. What does exist is that assistant itself: it works straight inside your administration, books after your confirmation and speaks up on its own. And if you want to use your own sales data with a language model of your choosing, we can prepare it in a usable form. That last part is a request rather than a ready-made button.

OpenAI, common questions
Can I put my OpenAI key into Schakel?
No. There is one assistant and it runs with us on DeepSeek. The actions, the confirmation step and the prompts are tuned to it, so attaching your own model is not possible.
Can I build against my bookkeeping with the OpenAI API myself?
Yes, Moneybird has an API. The page on OpenAI and Moneybird lists what still has to go around it before you point it at your real books.
Is anything trained on my data?
No. Your data is used to answer your question and make your bookings, and no model is trained on it.
